From here you set out on hikes and bike tours, city trips and sightseeing trips. Thanks to the perfect connection to the public transport network, you can safely leave your car behind.
Extensive apple orchards spread out behind the Finkenhof, and on one side the house is bordered by a protected chestnut grove. You live centrally and quietly and yet surrounded by greenery.
Thanks to the sun-drenched location, you can take a refreshing dip in the open air at the swimming pond and the outdoor pool from spring to autumn, or use our indoor pool. The wonderful lawn also offers a shady spot or two.

The east side of the house at Finkenhof is better than the “chocolate side” of many other houses. Here you can enjoy the morning sun and the view of Schenner's local mountain, the "Ifinger". From the south-west balconies and terraces you can see the landmark Schennas, the church and castle hill.
Behind the Texel group with its 3000 m peaks and the Merano basin. The hiking trails start right at the Finkenhof and lead you to the hiking areas “Schennaberg”, “Meran 2000” or “Tall”. It is a 40-minute walk or 15-minute bus ride to the spa town of Merano. The village center is 200 m away and the 3 cable cars can be reached either with the guest bus or in ½ an hour's walk.
